Premises

NAMA premises are located in Athens, Nea Filothei and occupy a company owned building designed and equipped in order to meet the needs of a modern consultancy company. The total surface area is 1300m² approximately and includes offices, meeting rooms, a conference room (audio-visual equipment and 60 seats included), kitchen facilities, local area network and modern telecommunication equipment, air condition, printing and plotting facilities, etc.

Equipment Resources

NAMA has installed a Local Area Network (LAN) based on 100 Mbit Ethernet technology, connecting all computers and peripheral devices listed bellow:

• Over 80 workstations that run mainly Microsoft Windows operating systems
• File Servers based on RAID technology, that store commonly used and project-related files guaranteeing high availability of the stored data. An index server is used for quick localization and retrieval of documents containing given keywords.
• A company owned e-mail server that manages all internal and external e-mails.
• An Intranet web server that offers a variety of services and useful, up-to-date, information in a comprehensive and well-structured form, e.g. company guidelines, project sheets, templates, technical specifications and various digital archives.
• Three fully equipped digital photogrammetric workstations
• Several peripheral devices including color A0 plotters, A3 color laser printer/copier, scanners and digitizers
• Land surveying equipment and various office automation equipment

The LAN is connected via a 1 Mbit line to the Internet through an ADSL router.

NAMA staff uses state-of-the-art software programms for the analysis and design of the assigned projects.
